Seahawks stifle Drake Maye, Patriots to capture Super Bowl LX

The best team in the NFL spent the 2025 season hiding in plain sight. Led by defense and special teams, armed with a quarterback nobody believed in and run by a 38-year-old, second-year coach whose personality remains opaque to almost everyone outside of his building, the Seattle Seahawks kept their heads down and kept winning.

Seattle's dominant defensive front was a bad matchup for Drake Maye and a Patriots offense that came into the Super Bowl struggling. Eight of the Patriots' first nine possessions Sunday ended with a punt, and the other ended with a kneel-down to close the first half.

How much Super Bowl LX tickets cost

The average ticket price for entry into Levi’s Stadium is $8,131.98, according to TicketIQ. The cheapest available ticket costs $4,951 and is located in Section 420, Row 20.

Santa Clara last hosted the Super Bowl in 2016, when the Carolina Panthers faced the Denver Broncos. That game drew 71,088 fans.

Levi’s Stadium is home to the San Francisco 49ers, who averaged 71,117 spectators per home game this season, according to Statista.

NHL players arrive in Milan, returning to the Winter Olympics after a 12-year absence

NHL stars have officially returned to the Winter Olympics in Milan, ending a twelve-year absence and marking the debut of a new generation of talent including Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews. Early arrivals like Czech goalie Lukas Dostal and Canadian star David Pastrnak took the ice ahead of the full delegations to adjust to the new arena and time zones.

Several players, including Leon Draisaitl and Pastrnak, were honored as flag bearers during the opening ceremony at San Siro.

Despite some early reports of imperfect ice conditions, players and coaches expressed immense excitement to participate in the first true best-on-best international tournament since 2016. Group play begins this Wednesday, while the United States and Canada are both scheduled to make their tournament debuts on Thursday.

Daly talks Olympics, playoff races with NHL.com

n a normal year -- at least as normal as it gets when you live in the always-fluid world that goes with being the Deputy Commissioner of the NHL -- Bill Daly would have taken a brief break from the world of pucks and pokechecks to attend the Super Bowl.

Except there is nothing normal about this year, at least in a hockey sense.

In a casual State of the Union address with NHL.com, Daly took time to discuss all things Olympics, the impact the 4 Nations Face-Off had as an adrenalin shot for the sport in the countdown to Italy, and the riveting post-Olympic Stanley Cup Playoff races that loom in March and April.

Uncertainty Surrounds YouTube TV Availability for MLB-Produced Games

In a significant shift for Major League Baseball’s broadcasting landscape, nine teams have severed ties with FanDuel Sports Network, formerly known as Bally Sports under Main Street Sports Group, paving the way for MLB to take over production and distribution of their local games starting in the 2026 season.

This move affects the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Rays, which collectively represent a substantial portion of the league’s regional media rights.

The decision stems from ongoing financial struggles at Main Street Sports Group, which emerged from bankruptcy in late 2024 and rebranded its networks with FanDuel, but failed to make the required rights payments to these clubs.

Anthony Davis expected to return this season, Wizards GM says

Wizards general manager Will Dawkins said Sunday that he expects Anthony Davis to return to the court this season but that the timeline will become clearer during the All-Star break.
